Lake Alan Henry is known as "West
Texas' best kept secret." The lake has clear, blue water and is also
known as the "hottest fishing lake in Texas." Fishermen from
numerous states are coming to Lake Alan Henry. (The state record
bass is expected by many to come out of this lake very soon.) North
Ridge is located on the main lake with waterfront lots that are
limited and high in demand. Access from Lubbock, Texas to North
Ridge is less than one-hour (55) miles away.
North Ridge Development is a 2000-acre upscale development
along the North shoreline of Lake Alan Henry. North Ridge has
approximately 7.5 miles of shoreline, consisting of 108 lakefront
properties and 51 non-waterfront lots. All roads in North Ridge are
paved and connect to FM 3519, which allows full pavement access from
Highway 84. There will be two private gated areas within the
development. The first gated area, Bonita Vista Drive, consists
of lots 31 thru 51. The second gated area, Sierra Vista
Drive, encompasses lots 83 thru 133.
North Ridge has
installed water service pipelines throughout the development,
making potable water availabile to each lot. Caprock
Communications provides telephone, TV, and high-speed Internet
service. North Ridge also has a *75-unit
boat storage facility* that entails the renters a North
Ridge boat ramp permit. North Ridge has constructed a five lane
private lighted boat ramp available for free use to all lot owners
and boat storage renters. The Garza County Constable will patrol
North Ridge to ensure the privacy and privileges of all lot owners
and renters.
Houses constructed in North Ridge must meet our
deed restrictions & requirements.
The protection of wildlife and lake water are a main concern of
North Ridge. Deer, turkey, and other wildlife are abundant, therefore
we are not allowing any lot enclosure fencing. This will allow the
free enjoyment of wildlife and all lot owners are required to file a
TCEQ non-erosion protection plan before construction begins. All lots
are subject to the restrictions set forth in the memorandum of agreement
by the City of Lubbock.
